Helga Kvam
born in Akureyri, Iceland in 1972.
Helga is a multi-awarded amateur photographer, both in Iceland and internationally.
Her works have been published in books and magazines world-wide and she has clients both in Iceland and abroad. Helga has taken part in many exhibitions, both solo and group exhibitions.

Helga also has tought numerous courses in photography and post-processing techniques all over Iceland,along with leading an introduction course into photography for all grammar schools for North Iceland’s Cultural Association. She has tought an esteemed course of Cultural Arts in a high school in Eyjafjörður for 5 years along with bringing the photographic arts into the general high school environment. Helga has served as a member of the council of Svalbarðsstrandarhreppur for the last 4 years, putting emphasis on culture and arts along with building up cultural awareness in the rural areas of Northern Iceland. Helga’s Flickr gallery has gained wide recognition in the past few years, promoting the Icelandic nature and lifestyle, bringing the views and purity of Iceland to the viewers abroad. She worked as a board member for Iceland’s biggest internet community for amateur photographers during it’s starting years.
Völundur Jónsson
born in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland in 1984.
Studied photography in Iðnskólinn in Reykjavík College and then went on to study photography in Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand.
During his studies he took on freelance work for Iceland’s main newspapers and glossy magazines, earning himself a reputation of being a flexible and able photographer.
He has won numerous awards for his photography both nationally and internationally and was a staff photographer for Fréttablaðið newspaper at 365 Media Corporation in 2007. He has worked as a freelance photographer since January 2008 and has been published in the main newspapers in Iceland during that time alongside working for individual contractors in the design media.His work has appeared in print in Iceland and abroad gaining him a reputation as a versatile and skillful photographer. Völundur received nomination and became the runner up for the DAC awards in New Zealand. Völundur also worked as a board member for Iceland’s biggest internet community for amateur photographers during it’s starting years.
In 2009 Völundur was the representative for Icelandic young photojournalists in a joint Nordic masterclass of photojournalism, lead by esteemed photographers Sören Pagter, Fred Ritchin, Tina Enghoff and Kent Klich.
